Pumpkins, Hayrides, and Carnivals: A Guide to Fall Fun in Dallas

It’s that time again! The leaves will soon start to fall, the air will become a crisp 80-ish degrees. . . and pumpkin patches will start cropping up all over town. Dallas & surrounding areas fully embrace the changing of the season, and even though some events won’t be the same this year, there’s still lots of Fall fun to be had! Here’s our guide to help you keep everything organized and find the best events for your family and your schedule.

We hope we’ve made it easy for you to find local events happening near you, but also don’t be afraid to venture out and explore some new ones. (Hint: Some of our favorite pumpkin patches and festivals lie an hour or so outside of the metroplex.)

Did we miss any? Let us know in the comments and we’ll be sure to add them to our list!

  1. Hi,
I am producing the DFW Kids Directory Fall Fest that will be taking place on Saturday, October 6th at the Dallas Farmers Market. I would love if you could add this to the list of Fall Carnivals. It will be a free family-friendly event with a petting zoo, a pirate show, face painting, mermaids, princess meet and greets, and much more.

Also, if any Mom bloggers would like to attend with their children, we are more than happy to do a VIP meet and greet with the princesses, mermaids, and pirates before the show. Please just email Jessica Hughes at: [email protected] for access. Thank you.
