Guide to Trick-or-Treating in and Around Dallas

It’s time to break out the goodie bags – Halloween is almost here! We hope this guide to trick or treating in and around Dallas makes your day twice as sweet.

Trick-or-Treat spots are ordered by date and are clickable, taking you directly to individual websites where you can find out all the specifics.

Be sure to check ahead for changes or cancellations.

September 15 – October 31

Fright Fest :: Six Flags Over Texas, 2201 East Road to Six Flags Street, Arlington76011. From 12:00 – 11:00 p.m.. Cost: Daily admission starts at $45.

September 21 – October 30

Pumpkin Nights :: Howell Family Farms, 4016 West Division Street, Arlington 76012. From 6:00 – 11:00 p.m.. Cost: $20 –  $28 per teen and adult; $15 – $20, per child (ages four – 12); kids three years and younger are free. Advance ticket purchase required.

October 14

Halloween at the Heard :: Heard Natural Science Museum, McKinney. From 6:00 – 10:00 p.m. Cost: $15 per adult; $10 per child (ages three – 12); two years and under are free. Tickets sell out quickly.

October 21

Halloween Event :: 204 Conures Drive, DeSoto 75115. From 2:00 – 6:00 p.m. Pumpkin patch, games, crafts, photo ops, fall-inspired treats, and live music. Free event!

Trick-or-Treat Trail :: Towne Lake Park, 1405 Wilson Creek Parkway, McKinney 75069. From 3:00 – 9:00 p.m. Local businesses and organizations will line the trail along Towne Lake to hand out candy and treats. Free event, and free parking at McKinney High School.

October 28

A Heritage Halloween :: Frisco Heritage Village and Museum. From 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. Cost: Free admission. Costumes encouraged!

Ghost Town :: Historic Downtown Carrollton. From 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. Cost: Free to attend. Candy, crafts, carnival games, and a Halloween movie at sunset.

Halloween in the Park :: Farmer’s Branch Historical Park, 2540 Farmer’s Branch Lane, Farmer’s Branch 75234. From 5:00 – 10:00 p.m. Cost: Free admission for Farmer’s Branch residents with a Boo Pass; $5 per person for non-residents.

Not So Scary Trunk-or-Treat :: First Methodist Church, 422 Church Street, Grapevine 76051. From 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. Free event.

Trick-or-Treating in the Park :: Klyde Warren Park, 2012 Woodall Rodgers Freeway, Dallas 75201. From 5:00 – 9:00 p.m Cost: Free admission.

Trick-or-Treat on the Square :: Frisco Square. From 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. Enjoy carnival games, inflatables, horse wagon rides, spooky treats, and more for the whole family to enjoy. Free event.

Trunk-or-Treat :: 4600 Highwood Drive, Arlington 76016. From 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. Free event! Come out and enjoy games, food, bounce houses, and lots of treats.

October 29

Trick-‘R-Treat Train :: 705 South Main Street, Grapevine 76051. Times vary based on ticket purchase. Includes a pre-packaged bag of goodies, Halloween-themed story time, and games aboard Grapevine’s Vintage Railroad. Costumes encouraged!

Trunk-or-Treat in the District :: AT&T Discovery District, 2801 South Akard Street, Dallas 75202. From 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. Cost: Free to attend. Costumes encouraged, and don’t forget to bring a goodie bag for candy!
