Snack Time, Christmas Style

2

Oh, I love Christmas time! I have the house decorated, I’ve finished my shopping {for the most part} and now it’s on to the good stuff- spending quality time with my husband and kids! I have found so many great Christmas craft and food ideas on… where else? Pinterest!

My Pinterest holiday board is full of fun snack and dessert ideas that are perfect for the holiday season! I can’t wait to make some of these with the kids and have others waiting for them when they come home from Mother’s Day Out.

First up, check out these brownie bites turned into Santa hats! Too cute. And, if you are in a hurry, you can buy the yummy pre-made brownie bites at the grocery store!

Y’all. I absolutely cannot wait to make these Gingerbread Heads with Chloe and Jack! I’m sure they won’t turn out as cute as Bakerella’s, but we are going to try our best!

How about these Snowmen donuts- so easy! {And I definitely have some left over candy corn from Halloween!}

And aren’t these cookies adorable? I may be making these to take to the kid’s teachers, too.

Although fun, these are {obviously} not healthy snacks and should be combined with lots of healthy foods, too!  I found a great article with tips for healthy holiday eating for your children- you can find it here! After reading it, I’ve decided to serve my snowmen donuts with a side of carrots and my cookies with a side of… milk! That’s healthy, right?!

I hope I’ve inspired you to make snack time a little more fun this Christmas season. Let us know if you try one or if you have any other snack ideas to share!
