Oh, I love Christmas time! I have the house decorated, I’ve finished my shopping {for the most part}, and now it’s on to the good stuff — spending quality time with my husband and kids! I have found so many great Christmas craft and food ideas on . . . where else? Pinterest!

My Pinterest holiday board is full of fun snack and dessert ideas that are perfect for the holiday season! I can’t wait to make some of these with the kids and have others waiting for them when they come home from school.

Santa Hats

First up, check out these brownie bites turned into Santa hats! Too cute. And, if you are in a hurry, you can buy the yummy pre-made brownie bites at the grocery store! These are also a fun option to make WITH the kids as the assembly is easy enough. Source: bites

Gingerbread Faces

Y’all. I absolutely cannot wait to make these gingerbread heads with Chloe and Jack! I’m sure they won’t turn out as cute as Bakerella’s, but we are going to try our best! Source:

(Again, it’s fun to surprise the kids with these treats, but it’s also fun to make these treats with your kiddos — especially if they are a bit older and can handle the decorating).

These are also fun gift ideas for teachers and neighbors. Snag some boxes with clear lids from Amazon, stuff with a bit of tissue paper, and you’ve got a Pinterest-worthy present to share.

Snowmen Donuts

How about these snowmen donuts — so easy! {And I definitely have some left over candy corn from Halloween!} Be sure to have napkins handy as we all know that white sugar powder gets EVERYWHERE. Source:

As far as a gift, this idea is a solid option if you are not sure or know that your giftee does not celebrate Christmas. Winter celebration and cute snowmen for the win! It’s a sweet treat and even sweeter gesture.

Candy Cane Blossoms

Last but not least — aren’t these cookies adorable? I may be making these to take to the kid’s teachers, too. Source:

Although fun, these sweet snacks are {obviously} not the only type of holiday snacks. Of course, balance these tasty tidbits with other goodies. Add carrots as side for the snowmen; pour milk along with those cookies; or create a fruit salad to accompany the Santa hats. There are tons of ways to make it fun and balanced.

I hope I’ve inspired you to make snack time a little more fun this Christmas season! Let us know if you try one or if you have any other snack ideas to share in the comments below!
