I think we can all agree that the last year has brought more time at home than most of us prefer. As we start looking towards summer, and a bit of return to normalcy, it’s time to consider summer plans for our children. The YMCA of Metropolitan Dallas is currently enrolling campers for their Summer Day Camps.
The YMCA offers so many opportunities to keep kids busy (and safe) this summer! There are 20 locations that offer Day Camps for 5-12-year-olds. Additionally, there are Pre-K Camps for 3-5-year-olds in Coppell and Irving. With camp hours from 7:30 am – 5:30 pm, the Y might have just what you’re looking for!
The Y offers a different theme for each week of camp, allowing campers to experience the best of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math), Arts and Crafts, Global Learning, and Health and Wellness in new and fun ways. Some of these amazing themes include: Ocean Life, Space Odyssey, Art Explosion, Summer Safari, and so much more! Campers’ days are filled with both indoor and outdoor activities, swim lessons,
weekly field trips, and many opportunities to learn and grow with their fellow campers.
You can feel safe sending your child to a YMCA Day Camp. The Y has put in place stringent protocols, including masks for staff, daily temperature checks, and additional cleaning, to help ensure a healthy environment for all.
