Insta-Worthy Murals Around Dallas
Rockwall/Fate
To the east of Dallas, you’ll find Lake Ray Hubbard and the cities of Rockwall and Fate. The first Insta-worthy mural finds its home on the side of Fisher & Zitterich Dentistry office, off of Ridge Road. The wings are from famous artist Kelsey Montague. If you look very closely at the wings, you can see tiny dental items mixed in! The mural even features small wings so you can take a picture with children or pets!
The second one we found was in downtown Fate, on Fate Main Place. This one would make a cute wedding Save the Date or engagement announcement!
Deep Ellum
Take the kids down to Deep Ellum for an afternoon of art, food, and culture and swing by many eclectic murals they have available for pictures! From local, famous musicians to little green men from outer space, you will find everything your Instagram is looking for. Here are a few favorites down in this diverse community.
Dallas
You’ll find this Dallas mural located at the corner of Sylvan and Ft. Worth Avenue. I love this one for a moving announcement or even a holiday card!
Plano
Drive north to the suburb of Plano, where you can find this interesting mural downtown off of 5th street. While you’re there, swing by and have some barbecue at Lockhart Barbecue or yummy Mexican food at Urban Rio. Across the street from the mural, you’ll find a train museum that your kids are sure to enjoy. After snagging a picture, drive a few minutes down the road and go visit Heritage Farmstead to enjoy some history.

Bishop Arts
The Bishop Arts District is a 28-square-block neighborhood that’s part of Oak Cliff. It is bordered by W. Davis St. on the north and W. 9th to the south. Hometown musicians such as Stevie Ray Vaughn are featured along with TV icon Batgirl. Grab lunch at Cafe Brazil, or popsicles at Picole, and then snap away at these cool Instagram-worthy murals!
Dallas Design District
It makes sense that the Design District would offer several artistically designed murals for your Instagram. The majority of these are located off Riverfront in Dallas. Plan to lunch on some great street tacos then capture tons of mural pics in this industrial area!
