All the Sweets and All the Treats with Santa

READING TIME: 3 min.

Hundreds of families gathered together this month for the Dallas Moms Blog 5th Annual Sweets & Treats with Santa with our lovely host Texas Discovery Gardens on December 8 & 9. This special time with Santa was made possible by MyKids DDS Children’s Dentistry and Orthodontics, who even brought their own surprise guest – Elsa! (And now you’re singing “Let It Go” …again, you’re welcome.)

Once all the families made their way into the Grand Hall at Texas Discovery Gardens, they settled in at festive tables with elegant Christmas centerpieces, Santa coloring sheets, reindeer craft ornaments, and crayons. MyKids DDS also sprinkled teeth-cleaning lollipops and candies on the tables – did you know those were a thing? Hopefully you put a giant handful in your purse like I did.

As they waited for their chance to visit Santa, the children gathered on stage to hear Mrs. Claus read her favorite Christmas book. And when Mrs. Claus wasn’t reading, Texas Kids Parties were twisting balloons, having sword wars, and entertaining us with their never-ending energy! The kids were crazy about these guys; they really stole the show. Other special guests who helped make the weekend so successful were our wonderful sponsors: KidVenture, Explore Horizons Frisco, Dallas Synergy Chiropractic, TopGolf Dallas, Goldfish Swim SchoolSt. Phillips School and Community Center and St. Marks School of Texas.

And let’s not forget the food! Delicious sweets and treats were provided by Taco Cabana (unlimited breakfast tacos!), Cinnaholic, McDonalds, Rush Bowls, Bird Bakery and Goodies by Jen

Thank you to all of our amazing sponsors for coming out and making this event possible. Special moments were captured by the ever so talented AKA Photography as well as RD Images and RC Photography, who handled all the Santa photos. Thank you, everyone!

We especially enjoyed meeting all of you and watching the children light up as they stole glimpses of Mr. and Ms. Claus. It’s a true delight to experience the magic of Christmas with little ones. Thank you for attending and helping to make this such a fun event every year!

Don’t forget! Save the date and be on the lookout for the Dallas Moms Blog Easter Egg Hunt on March 30 & 31 at Texas Discovery Gardens
