Chabad of Plano/Collin County presents this annual event, including an honoring of IDF soldiers, remarks from city leaders, and live music by IDF officer Rav Pdaya. Latkes, donuts, chocolate coins, light-up necklaces, and a graffiti canvas make this an event for the whole family! Free!
The JCC’s menorah lighting ceremony is sure to be a memorable one. Kindle the lights, sing traditional songs, and enjoy delicious holiday treats with the whole family. Free!
December 8
Shabbat Song and Prayer will be held in the Sanctuary at 6:00 p.m., followed by the annual MRJ Special Chanukah Family Dinner at 6:30 p.m. Register on their website. Free!
Welcome Shabbat with Cantor Itzhak Zhrebker and the adult and youth choirs as they perform familiar Hanukkah tunes and traditional melodies. Afterwards, enjoy a festive dinner in Kaplan Auditorium with latkes, sufganiyot (donuts), and more holiday singing!

If you’re the competitive type, enjoy dreidel spinning and Sufganiyot eating contests, plus a Maccabee relay race! Other activities for the whole family include a Kol Rina concert, singing, candle making, charades, and bingo. Register on their website.

Join CBI Chai Hopes for a bouncing good time! Put on your favorite PJs and let the kids have fun. There will be sufganiyot, coffee, and some relaxation for the parents. $10 per person.

This second annual Hanukkah event includes a Menorah lighting, sufganiyot, gelt, hot cocoa, and more. While you’re there, walk a quarter-mile trail through the property and enjoy holiday light creations and animated displays. Tickets from $3.

Head to the JCC Dallas for dinner at 5:30 p.m. and activities at 6:00 p.m. Hanukkah sameach!
Head to Bookmarks, a Dallas Public Library branch in NorthPark Mall, for the story of Hanukkah. Read a book, sing some songs, and do a craft to celebrate this festival of lights. Free!
December 18
This ninth annual event will feature a giant menorah lighting, a musical performance by Cantor Yudi Cohen, a bounce house, crafts, and fun for the whole family. Enjoy hot latkes, Chanukah donuts, and gelt as you gather together. Free!
