Welcome to the UTR Sports Pickleball Amateur Series – DALLAS METRO QUALIFIER!

⚫ ABOUT THE SERIES
UTR Sports Pickleball Amateur Series (PAS) is a year-long series of Round Robin events (with playoffs) held throughout the United States, leading up to a season-ending amateur championship in December. The objective of the PAS is to provide a world-class experience for passionate amateur players and produce a sense of value that exceeds the registration fees. As a result, we are focused on providing players with significant play (guaranteed 8 games), highly competitive matches, and a quality playing environment.

⚫ LOCATION
– Oasis Pickleball Club
– State Highway 205, Rockwall, TX, USA

⚫ FORMAT
– Round Robin play within groups, games to 11, win by 1
– Top 2 teams advance to Gold Medal match
– Next 2 teams advance to Bronze Medal match
– Next 2 teams advance to 5th & 6th place match
– Final 2 teams advance to 7th & 8th place match

⚫ MEDAL MATCHES
– 1st-4th place matches are Best 2 of 3, games to 11, win by 2
– 5th-8th place matches are 1 to 15, win by 2

⚫ DIVISIONS
– Mens Singles 19+, 30+, 40+, 50+, 60+
– Mens Doubles 19+, 30+, 40+, 50+, 60+
– Mixed Doubles 19+, 30+,40+, 50+, 60+
– Womens Doubles 19+, 30+, 40+, 50+, 60+
– Womens Singles 19+, 30+, 40+, 50+, 60+
**Age brackets greater than 60+ may be offered if the demand exists.

⚫ LEVELS
Players will register strictly by event type (Mens Singles, Mens Doubles, etc.) and age category (19+, 35+, 50+). When registration concludes, they will be assigned to groups based upon their UTPR rating.

⚫ EVENT SCHEDULE
– Friday, April 5: Mens Singles & Womens Singles
– Saturday, April 6: Mixed Doubles
– Sunday, April 7: Mens Doubles & Womens Doubles

⚫ DIVISION SCHEDULE
– Divisions run in 4 hour segments: 8a, 12p, and 4p
– Draws/times to be posted the Sunday prior to the event start date

⚫ REGISTRATION FEES
– Entry Fee (per player): $80
– Division Fee (per division): $40

⚫ TOURNAMENT BALL
– Franklin X-40

⚫ AWARDS
– Medals will be awarded to the top 3 teams/players in each level-based group.
– All 1st place finishers in each level-based group qualify for our UTR Sports Pickleball Amateur Series Championships.

⚫ CANCELLATION DEADLINE
– Friday, March 15, 2024, 6:00p EST

⚫ REGISTRATION & WEATHER INSURANCE POLICY
– If you withdraw before the CANCELLATION DEADLINE above, you will be issued a full refund without the need to purchase Registration & Weather Insurance.
– During registration, you may choose to purchase the insurance ($20) in case you have to withdraw from the event after the CANCELLATION DEADLINE above. The last day to purchase the Registration & Weather Insurance is March 15, 2024.
– No refunds or credits for any reason after March 15, 2024 if Registration Insurance & Weather Insurance is not purchased.

⚫ CODE OF CONDUCT
– All players will be held to the Player Code of Conduct (see attachment).
