You don’t want to miss out on this once in a life-time event! On Monday, April 8, 2024, the United States will experience a remarkable solar eclipse and Samuell Farm in Mesquite, TX is in the direct path of totality – experiencing 4 minutes and 7.6 seconds of darkness!
Hosted by the Dallas Park and Recreation Department, this three-day, family-friendly event will feature overnight camping, daily recreation and educational activities inspired by the eclipse, an eclipse store (get your eclipse glasses here!), a nighttime spectacular, and more.
The location, Samuell Farm, is a 609-acre park owned and operated by the Dallas Park and Recreation Department. The festival will feature 565 overnight campsites and day passes for Sunday, April 7 and Monday, April 8 (Eclipse day!). In addition to the festival activities, visitors are welcome to enjoy the trails and ponds – popular spots for mountain biking, fishing, geocaching, and kayaking.
You won’t want to miss this. Secure your spot to view the eclipse in a safe, fun location. Tickets sales for overnight camping open December 15, 2023. Tickets for event day passes open on March 1, 2024. Day passes include all the scheduled activities for the day, including the evening entertainment.
