Its founder, Sara Akers, is a treasured member of the team and today oversees NTPA’s community outreach and diversity-expansion efforts. NTPA offers classes, camps, and productions in Collin and Dallas Counties for young people ages five through 18, and adult programming through its NTPA Repertory Theatre.
The Perot Museum of Nature and Science located in Victory Park, near Downtown Dallas is said to be a “world of wonder” by The Dallas Morning News. Passing the test of school children, inspiring curiosity in all ages and boasting as a living science lesson, this new Museum opened its doors to the public on December 1, 2012. Get ready to amaze your brain through hands-on learning experiences.

House of Shine is a vibrant, interactive, self-discovery museum dedicated to the study of you. Our mission is to help people from 5 to 95 discover who they are and why their contribution to the world matters. Museum admission is free and hours are: Tuesday-Friday from 10 am to 4 pm and Saturday from 9 am to 4 pm.

It’s time for Summer Camp
Established in 2012 by former Colorado Rockies pitcher Ricky Testa, the TR Baseball Organization is a nonprofit select baseball program based out of Dallas, TX. The foundation of the TR Baseball Organization is based on an intent of the growth of each player, taking a passionate approach to the game of baseball while promoting both core values, as well as advanced training methods, at an affordable service to the public. TR Baseball sets forth the highest of standards for all of our coaches, players, and families, which allows the organization to base our success not only on winning, but the overall player development of each individual. Our program takes great pride in the relationships we build with both our players and parents, while pushing each athlete to their own potential and goals. As an organization, we believe that determination, commitment, hard work can bridge the gap between potential and true performance.
The coaching staff is assembled of committed and highly sophisticated coaches that have competed both at the collegiate and professional levels in which they provide instruction to players at all ages in a positive stimulating manner. Our philosophy helps to create an energetic and disciplined atmosphere, while encouraging respect, integrity, and personal growth. The TR Baseball Organization believes in pushing your teammates to be better, picking them up when they are down, and always believing in yourself. Character is revealed in times of adversity and baseball provides that adversity. It is our hope that our core values and principles will be internalized and will remain with each of our players throughout their life both on and off the field. On the baseball field, we teach confidence, a winning attitude, professionalism, managing failure, energy, and being a team player. Off the field, we stress the importance of academics, character, honesty, and a strong work ethic.
As an organization, TR Baseball seeks to compete against the best competition and work to achieve this by playing in the most competitive leagues, tournaments, and showcases. With the combination of committed players, a professional coaching staff, and an exceptional player to coach ratio, allows the organization to concentrate primarily on the developmental process of each individual player. TR Baseball creates an environment that entails a family atmosphere that provides an opportunity for players at all skill levels/age groups and believes that with the proper preparation, discipline, and self-confidence, will provide the best opportunity for our players to succeed. The players will learn to play the game the right way with a confident mental approach and sound fundamentals both offensively and defensively. In three years of existence, the coaching staff has proven their capability as TR Baseball, taking the DFW baseball community by storm by capturing eight championship titles along with throwing sixteen no hitters and two perfect games.
FMYSA started in 1990 to provide children in Flower Mound and the surrounding areas with a safe and organized environment to learn how to play baseball and softball in a recreational atmosphere. FMYSA has grown rapidly, with thousands of boys and girls playing baseball and softball on hundreds of teams.
We offer both Spring and Fall seasons. Our seasons generally run as follows:
Spring, early March to early June.
Fall, early September to late October.
Teams generally play 12 games in the Spring season and 10 games in the Fall season, generally 2 games a week. Weeknight games begin no earlier than 5:30 pm, with the last game starting around 8:00. Times vary by age group, with the younger age groups (5 and 6) playing the earlier games. Saturdays are big at FMYSA! Almost every team plays, with the first games usually starting at 9:00 am.
Danielle us a private voice teacher based in Dallas tx. Her and her husband have just moved her from Orange County CA, where she has been teacher for 5 years. She’s starts at age 6-adult.
We are a makers workshop space and music lesson studio offering classes in various creative arts, private lessons in piano, voice, guitar, and violin, as well as group classes for beginners of all ages. Our classes and lessons offer something for all ages! Make workshops are taught by local artists who specialize in their given craft. Check out our website for all of the current offerings. Texas Elite Lacrosse presents the best players and coaches ever assembled in the Great State of Texas! Our combined boys and girls staff includes coaches and players from Duke, Syracuse, Hopkins, Ohio State, Rutgers, Layola, Notre Dame, Hofstra, Dartmouth, Fairfield, Northwestern, UMBC, Quinnipiac, Denver and more. Our camp will take your son’s or daughters lacrosse skills to the next level and is a great opportunity to meet new friends and have fun! Our staff will conduct individual position work and work on team concepts! All of our coaches are very experienced in working with players of all ages and all skill levels. We pride our selves in having the top coaches in each position, including goalies and face off!

Beldam Womancare provides reproductive health education and support to women and girls. We believe that giving girls a strong foundation in body literacy sets them up for success in all areas of life: when a woman loves and respects her body, she will not accept anything less than the respect of others. To provide the support and education necessary for radical self-confidence, we offer classes for girls and teens on understanding puberty and the menstrual cycle. Mothers or adult female relatives are encouraged to attend with their daughters to share their experiences and expand their own knowledge.
The Gymnastics Place has been in business for over 25 years and has been under the current ownership of Billy Booth for the past 16 years. Billy has been actively involved in gymnastics for over 35 years. Before owning The Gymnastics Place, Billy coached state, regional, and national champion gymnasts. While under Billy’s directorship, 22 former team members received full gymnastics scholarships to Universities across the United States. Billy has also served as a member of the State USA Gymnastics Board for over 22 years. In 1998, Billy was elected as a Life Member in the Gymnastics Association of Texas for his service to children and coaches throughout the years.
Matt Sturgis was a competitive cheerleader, college cheerleader, a member of American Cheerleaders Association Staff where he traveled teaching summer camps and was awarded Rookie of the Year in 1999. He has taught tumbling, cheerleading, and preschool gymnastics for fourteen years. Matt is USASF, USAG, First Aid, and CPR Certified.
Le’Son Ivory is a former All-star, college, and professional cheerleader and in those years of cheer, was selected to perform in the opening ceremonies of the 1996 Olympics, as well as winning All-American cheerleader for UCA and COA 3 consecutive years. Coach Lee is a former head instructor for Americheer and NCA. He is a national title winning coach and choreographer. Lee is USASF, First Aid, and CPR Certified.
Carpe Diem Private Preschool is a private preschool serving children from infancy through pre-kindergarten. Trinity Forest Adventure Park is an adventure park located in Dallas,TX consisting of ropes obstacle course varying in levels of difficulty/height.Our park has over 70 elements and over 20 zip lines, that gradually becomes more difficult and higher .It is perfect for thrill-seekers, new climbers and even the little ones (ages 4 and up) on our children courses. We pack a lot of fun in one just for the family.
Introducing the Bridlewood Jr. Golf Academy, a junior golf program for boys and girls from ages 6 to 16. This multi‐level program offers instruction specific to the player’s ability from beginner to the elite junior. Students will be placed in practice groups with supervised activities based on their skill level.
Play Street is a children’s museum created to inspire imaginations through dramatic play and encourage exploration through educational activities.
Extra Innings is everything baseball and softball. You can use our batting cages or tunnels, receive professional instruction, or buy equipment at our nationally recognized Pro Shop. We also have video games and a great room to host a Birthday Party!
Our batting cages and Pro Shop are open to walk-in visits. However, Reservations are recommended for private lessons, clinics and use of the tunnels.
Extra Innings offers private (1 student) and group lessons (3 or more students) on the mechanics of pitching, hitting and fielding.
We bring the creative fun to you! In our fun-filled art parties, children have a blast while creating artistic treasures they will enjoy long after the celebration. Your party projects will be tailored to your child’s theme, interests and abilities. We offer a wide variety of party options including: Acrylic Paintings, Clay, DIY Spa, Slime, Science, and many more! At this time we are only offering outdoor parties to allow for plenty of social distancing and fresh air. Your party can be held in your backyard, at a park, or other outdoor venue.
