Hawaiian Falls

Located in the “Historic Silos” of Carrolloton and desiginated a historical landmark on May 21st, 2011. Used by climbers of all ages and abilities from scouts to world class climbers, no one in Dallas wanted to see the “Silos” closed.

“The North Texas OPC” as it is called includes indoor rock climbing, outfitting, rock climbing & wilderness trips, backpacking gear rentals, kayak rentals, instructional courses in both rock climbing & backpacking as well as a map room, book room and snack bar.

The North Texas Outdoor Pursuit Center will be housed in the newly historically renovated grain silos, the historical renovation includes new historically correct lighting through out circa. 1940, Architectural 1940’s barn/farmhouse features include corrugated metal, knotty pine flooring, front counter features, painting schemes, glass floor showcasing the original grain processing equipment as it sits today, lounge area showcasing the research document and photos used to get historical designation, remodeled restrooms circa. 1940 and much more.

We are a makers workshop space and music lesson studio offering classes in various creative arts, private lessons in piano, voice, guitar, and violin, as well as group classes for beginners of all ages. Our classes and lessons offer something for all ages! Make workshops are taught by local artists who specialize in their given craft. Check out our website for all of the current offerings. Indoor pools are open year-round.  The outdoor pool area is open during the summer season, from Memorial Day to Labor Day, when school is out.   Pool schedules are subject to change without notice.

Founded in 1983, the nationally acclaimed Northern Texas PGA Junior Golf Foundation, a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization, is committed to introducing, promoting and growing the game of golf to a diverse group of kids in North Texas and instilling in them the positive, character developing traits for which the game is so well known. Each year close to 10,000 children and their families are impacted by the game of golf through a full circle of programs and services which encompass introduction to the game, playing opportunities, college scholarships, elite competition, employment and philanthropy.

Beldam Womancare provides reproductive health education and support to women and girls. We believe that giving girls a strong foundation in body literacy sets them up for success in all areas of life: when a woman loves and respects her body, she will not accept anything less than the respect of others. To provide the support and education necessary for radical self-confidence, we offer classes for girls and teens on understanding puberty and the menstrual cycle. Mothers or adult female relatives are encouraged to attend with their daughters to share their experiences and expand their own knowledge.

PBA, a non-profit organization, hosts both recreational and competitive baseball for youth in the Plano and the surrounding communities. Children, ages 3 -18 years play in league and tournaments throughout the spring and fall seasons. PBA aspires to offer every child wanting to learn baseball the opportunity to develop the mental and physical skills needed to play through camps, clinics and regular team practices. Physical activity, teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship are all emphasized for healthy life skills.

PBA is not only dedicated to our players, but also to the development of each of its umpires, volunteer coaches and assistants through training classes, coaching clinics and support from our staff, league commissioners, and the Board of Directors. By utilizing Major League Baseball, the rules of our sanctioning body and local PBA rules, our coaches teach respect and integrity for the game of baseball.

All programs operated by PBA are open to all residents of Plano as well as any North Texas community regardless of race, age, socio-economic level, color, sex, national origin, religion, handicap status and geographic residency.

Parish Save Our Summer (S.O.S.) is proud to present more than 70 distance learning options including fine arts, STEM, world language and fitness. Parents can choose from a menu of offerings of varied lengths in both the morning and afternoon. Structured, week-long sessions, where friends can learn, socialize, and create with our instructors, provide parents the opportunity to catch up on work or take a break. Many of our programs only require a laptop and a readiness to learn, while other camps come with a set of supplies for you to safely pick up before camp starts. The Taekwondo America junior program teaches self-confidence, focus, self-discipline, courtesy and teamwork in a fun environment. During a typical class students may participate in a variety of activities such as:

Working with an instructor to learn or improve their Form, Practicing sparring or One-Step skills, Working with a partner on target drills to learn to punch and kick more effectively, participating in a relay race learning about bullies or Stranger Danger, Jumping rope, Practicing kick combination using the rail for support, and other fun cardio, strength and agility drills.

Adult and Teen classes provide an excellent strength training and aerobic workout for wide range of ages and abilities. Activities are designed to allow you to work out at your pace and level as strength, flexibility and endurance improve. In addition to learning your current belt level Form, practicing sparring or One-Steps and learning how to defend yourself, you might use targets, slammers, pushups, sit ups and the rail in a variety of fun and challenging activities to increase flexibility and improve muscle strength.

Established in 2012 by former Colorado Rockies pitcher Ricky Testa, the TR Baseball Organization is a nonprofit select baseball program based out of Dallas, TX. The foundation of the TR Baseball Organization is based on an intent of the growth of each player, taking a passionate approach to the game of baseball while promoting both core values, as well as advanced training methods, at an affordable service to the public. TR Baseball sets forth the highest of standards for all of our coaches, players, and families, which allows the organization to base our success not only on winning, but the overall player development of each individual. Our program takes great pride in the relationships we build with both our players and parents, while pushing each athlete to their own potential and goals. As an organization, we believe that determination, commitment, hard work can bridge the gap between potential and true performance.

The coaching staff is assembled of committed and highly sophisticated coaches that have competed both at the collegiate and professional levels in which they provide instruction to players at all ages in a positive stimulating manner.  Our philosophy helps to create an energetic and disciplined atmosphere, while encouraging respect, integrity, and personal growth. The TR Baseball Organization believes in pushing your teammates to be better, picking them up when they are down, and always believing in yourself. As an organization, TR Baseball seeks to compete against the best competition and work to achieve this by playing in the most competitive leagues, tournaments, and showcases. With the combination of committed players, a professional coaching staff, and an exceptional player to coach ratio, allows the organization to concentrate primarily on the developmental process of each individual player. TR Baseball creates an environment that entails a family atmosphere that provides an opportunity for players at all skill levels/age groups and believes that with the proper preparation, discipline, and self-confidence, will provide the best opportunity for our players to succeed. The players will learn to play the game the right way with a confident mental approach and sound fundamentals both offensively and defensively. In three years of existence, the coaching staff has proven their capability as TR Baseball, taking the DFW baseball community by storm by capturing eight championship titles along with throwing sixteen no hitters and two perfect games.
