At Heroes, our Camps and Clinics provide a great opportunity for players to improve as players while having fun at the same time. Our goal at Canyons Climbing Gym is to provide a friendly, positive, and comfortable environment with a sense of community. We work to ensure that beginners and experts will have the opportunity to enjoy, train, learn, and love the art of climbing.
Consisting of the TAOS Tower and HUECO Bouldering Wall, the SMU Climbing Wall provides over 2600 square feet of climbing and is the place for the climbing community at SMU. The Center provides supervision, instruction, and indoor climbing equipment rental. The Climbing Wall welcomes all climbing levels with routes designed for different skills and experiences. The indoor climbing walls were constructed by EntrePrise USA, Inc, a leading builder of artificial climbing walls in the US, and are composed of their patented Free Form® material to provide the look and feel of real rock.

Located in the “Historic Silos” of Carrolloton and desiginated a historical landmark on May 21st, 2011. Used by climbers of all ages and abilities from scouts to world class climbers, no one in Dallas wanted to see the “Silos” closed.
“The North Texas OPC” as it is called includes indoor rock climbing, outfitting, rock climbing & wilderness trips, backpacking gear rentals, kayak rentals, instructional courses in both rock climbing & backpacking as well as a map room, book room and snack bar.
The North Texas Outdoor Pursuit Center will be housed in the newly historically renovated grain silos, the historical renovation includes new historically correct lighting through out circa. 1940, Architectural 1940’s barn/farmhouse features include corrugated metal, knotty pine flooring, front counter features, painting schemes, glass floor showcasing the original grain processing equipment as it sits today, lounge area showcasing the research document and photos used to get historical designation, remodeled restrooms circa. 1940 and much more.
You are welcome to bring your kids up to the Treefort during the week or on Sundays to play!
- We do not take reservations for the treefort
- No food or drink is allowed on the treefort
- Playtime in the treefort will not be supervised by a Watermark Staff Member or Volunteer. Adults will need to monitor children at all times.
- Watermark is not responsible for any injuries on the treefort.
- The treefort cannot be used for Birthday Parties or Celebrations.

Adults are welcome to join in on the adventure, or sit back and relax
while their children discover a world that is just their size in our interactive children’s museum.
Extra Innings is everything baseball and softball. You can use our batting cages or tunnels, receive professional instruction, or buy equipment at our nationally recognized Pro Shop. We also have video games and a great room to host a Birthday Party!
Our batting cages and Pro Shop are open to walk-in visits. However, Reservations are recommended for private lessons, clinics and use of the tunnels.
Extra Innings offers private (1 student) and group lessons (3 or more students) on the mechanics of pitching, hitting and fielding.
Since 1989, LONE STAR FENCING CENTER has been introducing the sport of fencing to thousands of children and adults in DFW metroplex. Our coaches have combined over 50 years of fencing experience and are USFA (United States Fencing Association) certified. Our coaches are trained to provide the latest techniques and tactics to our students . Regardless of whether you’ve ever held a fencing weapon, our coaches will give you one on one introductory classes to all of potential fencers.
We offer fencing programs for recreational to competitive fencers as well as fencing camps for the beginner and advanced student. Our programs are specially designed by world-class coaches. Students are challenged mentally and physically, honing agility, quickness, and subtlety of movement. Our students learn to:
- Think strategically and solve problems quickly
- Evaluate the cause and effect of their actions
- Overcome attitudes and fears
- Win and lose graciously
Fencing was one of the first sports to be recognized in modern Olympics. Fencing has been described as “chess with muscles,” suggesting that complicated strategy lies behind the thrusts and parries that punctuate a duel. Fencers of today employ a combination of archaic and modern customs; combatants still salute before a match and wear the traditional white uniforms and masks, but scoring is now determined by electronic padding worn by the combatants that registers when a hit takes place with flashing, color-coded lights.
