We want to thank all of our attendees for coming out and being a part of our event! We had over 90 moms come out for a night of fun, education, goodies, and giveaways, and we all had such a great time!

We began the night allowing moms to explore our venue and get settled in. All moms who attended were provided with raffle tickets (and bonus tickets for bringing donations for our host, Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children.) Moms had the opportunity to walk around to some of our table vendors and sponsors who were hand selected to be at our event. These were local businesses that would guide moms through their journey into motherhood. Sponsors like Richardson Dentistry had their dentists on hand to answer questions about infant and toddler dental care as well as procedures beneficial to adults. As we kicked off the night, moms were greeted in the main conference room with a large appetizer spread from our friends at The Festive Kitchen. They provided a variety of homemade dips, pasta salads, peach tea, and desserts– including their famous freshly baked cookies!

Before heading into our breakaway sessions, our lovely panel of speakers come up on stage for a brief Q&A session to some questions moms wanted to know the answers to. They provided helpful insight to their favorite parenting books, what they’d go back and change about their first year of parenthood, and even giving tips for finding “me time.”

Heather Creekmore mom of 4 and author/owner of Working Out Love got real about what being a mom does to our physiques! As a fitness trainer, she provided a real look at what mom’s go through after their body carries and delivers a baby and how to cope with the changes that come in her breakaway session “Body After Baby: The Good, The Bad, and The “Oh My! How Do I Fix That?””

Melissa O’Neill of Newborn Nightingales is a Mom to two girls and a Registered Nurse with a twelve-year background in Neonatal ICU. She’s also now spent over three years as a sleep specialist and provided helpful tips to expectant moms and new moms on how to develop great sleepers in her breakaway session “Start Smart. Rest Well.”  

Dana White from A Slob Comes Clean is a mom to three and full-time writer who shared tips and tricks in her breakaway session “How To Manage Your Home Without Losing Your Mind.” New Moms and experienced moms learned helpful ways to take control of the mess and make it manageable even if it felt like there wasn’t enough time. 

Dr. Denisa Weber of Serving Life Chiropractic gave 3 things to help you be the Happiest Mommy on the Block when it comes to you and your child’s health! Dr. Denisa draws on her knowledge as a pediatric and prenatal chiropractor as well as her experience as a doula and mom. Moms-to-be and new moms benefited from learning action steps to make the journey to mommyhood enjoyable!

All of our moms also walked away with an amazing bag filled with goodies–our most packed bag yet!
