It’s summer all year long at Epic Waters. DFW is home to Texas’ newest and largest indoor waterpark located in Grand Prairie, featuring 80,000 sq. ft. of year-round water fun!  When the weather cools off, you can enjoy summer fun all winter!

Epic Waters has appropriately been nicknamed the “cruise ship on land” for it’s something for everyone feel. Rides, slides, pools, and more including an arcade, dining, and shopping.

Attractions:

This place is crazy big with 11 water slides, three of which are the first-ever of their kind, rides, and even a wave pool. Each attraction has a Texas-themed name or is named after a Texas landmark!  My favorites include the Lasso Loop, Rio Grand, and Rascal’s Roundup–educational and fun–bonus!

The facility has a retractable roof for an outside, sunny day feel but with the luxury of an indoor waterpark. This eliminates the painstaking task of putting sunscreen on an unwilling participant! The water temperature ranges from 78-82 degrees.

Safety:

Each ride has height requirements and most slides offer a clear, enclosed tube. Outside floats are not allowed but the park does have free access to inner tubes for certain areas of the park.

The park has plenty of lifeguards throughout the park and lifejackets are conveniently available for guests.  You’ll enjoy the park knowing your kids will be safe while they enjoy the park, and you’ll enjoy the nap they’ll take later!

Pricing:

If you live in Grand Prairie, you should definitely take advantage of their residential pricing.  But if you live outside of Grand Prairie, you’ll appreciate their affordable pricing and all the indoor fun they offer!

  • Children under 3 are free with adult admission.
  • Guests 48 inches and under: Grand Prairie residents are $17, non-residents are $29.
  • Guests over 48 inches: Grand Prairie residents are $22, and non-residents are $34.
  • Non-swimmers are $15 for all guests.

Special pricing and packages are available online! You can purchase tickets HERE.

This is the perfect destination for fall/winter birthdays.

Make sure you check out the birthday party specials online!

Accommodations:

The indoor water spectacular is walking distance from Grand Prairie’s amazing fitness, arts and entertainment center, The Epic.  You can also find affordable options for hotel, dining and retail nearby here.

No matter your age, or swim level, you´re sure to have an EPIC time at Epic Waters!
