A Look Back at A Bad Moms Christmas with Alamo Drafthouse :: A DMB Event

Dallas Moms Blog partnered with Alamo Drafthouse to provide our readers with an exclusive event. All opinions are 100% our own!

We all know this time of year. You’ve barely wrangled your sugar-laden children out of their Halloween costumes, and there it is—the holiday season staring you in the face. As moms, this time of year definitely brings a mix of thoughts and emotions. On the one hand, there’s the excitement of watching your children enjoy all the magic, and on the other, there’s the challenge of finding the perfect gifts (for ALL the people), and making it through the constant gatherings. I’m thinking it’s safe to say that every mom has had her moment of wanting to break free of the holiday stress!

For a little over 200 of our Dallas Moms Blog readers, that moment came true thanks to the wonderful Alamo Drafthouse of Richardson. Not only did a fun moms night out include awesome food, specialty drinks, and a private screening of the movie, Bad Moms Christmas, it was the perfect way to kick off the holiday season. Alamo definitely knows how to host a fun moms night out and spoil their guests!

Moms came dressed in their most tacky Christmas sweaters, competing for a few amazing giveaways from Alamo Drafthouse of Richardson, Kendra Scott, and Kate Summerville.

It was so fun to see the creativity of some of our moms in their tacky sweaters. Dressed like something that could only come out of National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation, our moms laughed and showed their best poses, reminding us all that the holiday season is meant to bring about joy and fun!

In true giving fashion, Kate Summerville even offered free facials at their in-store locations to any mom who wanted to experience a little “mommy pampering!” Valued at nearly $300 each, these facials have definitely been an added bonus to keep the fun of the night going far past our evening out!

Our moms laughed, dined, and let loose while Alamo Drafthouse of Richardson made sure all the details were taken care of. (They even gave fair warning to the surrounding theaters that they may hear a little excess noise, because let’s face it—a night out with your best girlfriends while viewing such a fun movie did result in a little whooping and hollering! Because a good moms night out always should!).

We cannot thank Alamo Drafthouse of Richardson any more for the awesome moms’ night out, and our giveaway sponsors for their generosity. The next time you feel that holiday slump creeping in, grab your best mom friends and take a night off to enjoy one another! I guarantee you’ll feel refreshed the next day (well, maybe after that second cup of “recovery” coffee!).
