I don’t know about you but in my house, it can be a struggle to get my kids to eat their veggies. I’m often looking for new ideas and creative ways to pack more vegetables into their diets. lil’gourmets is a great way to introduce tons of veggies and new spices to your children – the consistency makes it perfect for babies, but the flavors can be enjoyed by everyone in the family!

I first learned about lil’gourmets on a trip to Chicago a few years ago. At the time, I didn’t have a baby who was ready for solids, and it wasn’t available in Dallas. But, I have good news! lil’gourmets just launched at Whole Foods Markets across Texas. That means Dallas moms now have easy access to these delicious meals. And we’ve got a lil’gourmets BOGO offer and giveaway for you at the end of this post!

Your Whole Family Will Love lil’gourmets

Fresh and Convenient

lil’gourmets is a women-owned, minority-owned, organic food start-up. Their veggie meals are based on the latest research in children’s nutrition and serve as an ideal first food for a baby or a deliciously convenient snack or dip for kids (or parents!). lil’gourmets has a ‘veggie-first promise’ which means that 100% of their recipes feature veggies and beans as the first and primary ingredients.

The meals contain 1 or more servings of vegetables or beans per 3.5oz cup. Additionally, the veggie meals feature ingredients like coconut milk and extra virgin olive oil, finished with interesting spice blends to create delicious, ‘closest to homemade’ meals with no added salt or sugar. Busy moms can feel good about feeding their kids these meals when they don’t have time to make something themselves.

Lil’gourmets veggie meals are conveniently served in a cup and can be found in the refrigerated section of all Whole Foods across Texas (near baby yogurt), so you know they are fresh! The veggie meals retail for $3.69 and are organic, non-gmo, plant-based, and a Purity Award Winner from the Clean Label Project! To find out more visit lilgourmets.com.

Amazing Flavors

The veggies and spices in lil’gourmets meals introduce your family to a world of new flavors. We tried Cinnamon Beets & Apples (US), Coconut Cauliflower Mash (Australia), Moroccan Butternut Squash (Morocco), Pumpkin Navy Bean Shawarma (Middle East), Spanish Corn & Bean Gazpacho (Spain), and Sweet Potato Curry (India). Not only are the veggie meals great on their own, but you can add them to other dishes for an extra boost of veggies!

My kids liked the Cinnamon Beets & Apples the most. I think they are the perfect addition to a smoothie or to mix in with plain yogurt to add some extra healthy fat. My husband and I tried all the flavors too. We both loved the Spanish Corn & Bean Gazpacho with tortilla chips. It would also make a nice addition to a quesadilla (a fan favorite around here). I added the Pumpkin Navy Bean Shawarma as a spread on my turkey sandwich and it was delicious as well. lil’gourmets makes it easy to add vegetables to everyone’s diet!

Raising Veggie Lovers

Research shows that an early introduction of vegetables has a profound impact on how many vegetables children consume as they continue to grow. The Partnership for a Healthier America (PHA) has a new campaign advocating early and often introduction of vegetables built upon this research. lil’gourmets can help you achieve this goal with their veggie-centered meals. In fact their goal is to help raise life-long veggie lovers, while also providing lil’ ones essential nutrients today.
