Kidville: Where Exploration Lives

UPDATE: This business has permanently closed.

The contributors of Dallas Moms are quickly discovering that Kidville in Dallas is becoming our One-Stop Shop for all of our kids’ entertainment needs. From their award-winning hair salon to their incredible classes. We just can’t get enough of all that Kidville has to offer for our kids of all ages; especially their play areas!

Big Muscles Gym

Kidville Dallas Big Muscles Gym

One of my son’s favorite things to do during the weekday is to go spend an hour or so in the Big Muscles Gyms.

These are state-of-the-art gyms where your little one can run, climb, slide, and tumble.  Equipped with obstacle courses, blocks, tunnels, rock climbing walls, and a Tumble Trak, your child can burn off all (or most!) of their energy.

We spend most of our time going up and down their toddler-friendly slides or bouncing around on the Tumble Trak; a raised and padded spring board of sorts with a softly, padded foam pile at the end to jump into. Kidville Dallas Tumble Trak Big Muscles Gym

Added Bonus: When you sign up for a Big Muscle class at Kidville, all of your classes will be held in these facilities, or with a class purchase, you can use the gyms for independent play for FREE as long as it’s during one of their open hours

Play Village

Before we even attended a class, one of the first experiences we had was in their Play Village. Unique to Dallas, this 1,000 square foot room was designed and built to encourage imagination. The Play Village includes a 50’s style diner where you can be seated in the child-sized diner booth and serve up delicious pretend meals.  Or head over to the beauty boutique to help dress and style.

There’s a retro themed gas station and workshop with tools to help repair a model car, and then do a little grocery shopping in the Kidville market! One of the highlights is also the replica McKinney Avenue Trolley!

Whether your a boy or girl, 1 year old or 6 years old, there’s something for everyone to do, and it will occupy a large part of your morning or afternoon without much effort on your part as a parent! Just enjoy your kids being kids in an awesome space you won’t find anywhere else!

Kidville Dallas Play Village Unfortunately, the Play Village is a little more exclusive to prevent overcrowding. Registering for a class will allow you 1 free pass into the Play Village, a Gold Membership will provide you with 20 passes, and the Platinum and Diamond memberships will get you unlimited use!

You can find out more about the play areas at Kidville or how to place membership into one of their classes on their website.

If you’re still not sure and want to give Kidville a test run, call 214-378-7777 and ask about a sample class and play area preview!

And remember to let them know you heard about them right here on Dallas Moms!

*Dallas Moms is partnering with Kidville to share about all they have to offer. Some of us have received complimentary enrollment (which we are soooo excited about) in exchange for sharing about them. All opinions expressed are proudly our own.

Krystal Hurst
Krystal is a Dallas-native who began her career as a fourth grade teacher in Richardson RISD, but quickly changed paths to became a stay-at-home mom in 2011. Through a happy coincidence, she stumbled upon (what was then known as) Dallas Moms Blog in 2012 and found a community she’d been looking for since coming a mom. Shortly after joining the team, she gratefully accepted the “baton” passed to her as new owner of the site, and took off with it running full speed! Krystal not only helped to grow Dallas Moms into a large parenting resource, but also launched Collin County Moms in 2016; providing those in the north Dallas suburbs their community resource platform. While building a community, uniting the moms, and growing a business around this passion was a dream come true, after almost 10 years, Krystal officially stepped down as owner, and is now focusing on raising her 4 boys with her husband, Tim, and rediscovering old hobbies.
