A Guide to Christmas Tree Farms In & Around Dallas

The smell of fresh pine needles and apple cider fill the air as you stroll a country farm looking for the perfect Christmas tree. Even if you’re a fake tree family, the experience is worth a trip outside city limits. Here are the best (and closest) spots. Click on the city links to see each farm’s distance from you.

Note: Personal responsibility is huge here, as it is with any public activities during this time. Please wear your masks, social distance, and stay home if you’re sick or have been exposed to COVID. Double check before you head to a location to be sure they’re still proceeding as planned.

Dallas Christmas tree farms

Depending on how particular you are about finding a certain type of tree, you may want to call ahead to check stock. And if you’re shopping for a tree after the 2nd weekend in December, I would call ahead as well, especially before you make a long drive!
