Four Skills Your Child will Learn at Camp Champions

After a full summer at home last year, I fully understand just how much growth a child experiences in those three short months. It’s a change that just doesn’t happen sitting in a chair at school. I’m certain a summer at camp with his friends will help my son in ways I just can’t at home. This summer, enroll your child in a summer camp that will embrace that development in a way that is fun and challenging! Camp Champions helps every camper grow into the champion they are intended to be.

Camp ChampionsCamp Champions is a boys and girls summer camp for children ages 5-18, located in the beautiful Hill Country of Central Texas. Their program was designed by parents to reinforce the “Four Rs”–the values Camp Champions teach every day through activities, traditions, and role models.

The Four R’s

The Four R’s are the foundation of the philosophy at Camp Champions. Through these values, your child will embrace their inner champion. Camp Champions’ values reinforce living with integrity, serving others, and doing the right thing.

  • Responsibility: to become more independent and resilient.
  • Respect: to learn from positive adult role models.
  • Reaching Out: to make friends and develop stronger social skills.
  • Reasonable Risks: to learn new athletic, artistic, and outdoor skills.

A summer at camp gives your kids a chance to master skills they’ve learned and encourages them to develop new skills and interests. Through Camp Champions’ program, your child will discover newfound independence to explore new relationships and learn who they are.

We know that every one of our campers has what it takes. We just try to bring out the champion that’s already in each one of them!

Your child will have an endless amount of fun with over 50 fun and challenging activities from which to choose. They’ll spend days waterskiing and on the climbing walls, learning archery and horseback riding, and so. much. more.

Camp ChampionsYou can feel safe sending your child to Camp Champions. In 2020, Camp Champions operated without a single COVID-19 diagnosis.

Let the adventure begin at Camp Champions!

Katherine and her husband, Christopher, grew up in Dallas and met at SMU (Go Ponies!). They have been married 13 years, and although they love The Great State, they lived in DC and Baltimore for seven years, where they experienced actual seasons and great seafood! They made their way back to Texas seven years ago to be closer to family. While working full time and pregnant with their curly-haired Little Man (February 2015), Katherine completed her Master’s degree in Communication and Leadership at Gonzaga University. She continues to work full-time as an Executive Assistant in downtown Dallas. Katherine loves dining in Dallas’ local restaurants; chips and salsa are her weakness! When she’s not running after her family or busy with church activities, you might find her working on a homemade craft or two. You can catch up with her on IG @withlovebykitty
