Trinity Falls Trail Day 5K

Register today for the inaugural Trinity Falls Trail Day 5K! Held on Saturday, June 3, 2023, the scenic race route will guide you around the beautiful master-planned community of Trinity Falls and along the 350-acre natural park with miles of winding, wooded river frontage where families explore and become one with nature. Trinity Falls chose June 3 to align with National Trails Day, a nationwide event held to encourage people to discover their local trails and celebrate spending time outdoors.
Registration for the Trinity Falls Trail Day 5K is $30 and includes entry into the chip timed racecourse, event t-shirt, Trinity Falls Trail Day 5K bib, and an awesome finishers medal! The 5K will start at 8:00 AM. Attendees can arrive as early as 7:00 AM. The event is family friendly, and strollers are welcome!
CASH prizes will be awarded to the Top Overall Males and Females: First Place ($200), Second Place ($100) and Third Place ($50) AND the First Place Stroller Strider ($50). PLUS awards for the top male and female finisher in the following age groups: 14 & under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 & over! The Awards Ceremony will take place at 8:45 AM.
Trinity Falls is donating 100% of gross profits to local McKinney nonprofits Hugs Café, Lifepath Systems, Community Garden Kitchen, Shiloh Place, and The Warriors Keep!
POST-RUN ACTIVITIES
Stay for the party at the finish line! There will be a variety of local outdoors, recreation and fitness vendors, a disc golf demonstration, music, photo-ops, and food trucks onsite to purchase food and drink. A ladybug release will start at 9:30 AM and will kick off with Ms. Bug reading the Grouchy Ladybug book. Little ones will have a chance to release the ladybugs and take pictures with Ms. Bug.
Starting at 10:00 AM, you can tour the model homes for a chance to win a $1000 gift certificate to Nebraska Furniture Mart.
