It is geared towards the beginning level golfer who has little or no tournament experience and utilizes a format that provides for a less stressful playing environment.
Team Golf is played using a “best-ball” format in which players are paired up with another member of their team. That pair then plays 9 holes using the best score of the 2 players on each hole. This best-ball format allows each player to have a fun competitive experience without the pressures that an individual tournament format can produce.
