We’ll discuss our well-rounded curriculum that aims to develop each student’s physical and intellectual gifts. Hands-on learning experiences in the areas of math, science, social studies, technology, foreign language and performing arts are only part of what makes the learning experience here so unique. Our students develop a love for learning and service.
We integrate service learning into our curriculum because it speaks to the “and” in our name. We are a school AND a Community Center that believes we must be a part of the community our campus resides in. Throughout our lives, we work with others to achieve common goals. Physical fitness and health are important, but teamwork is a skill more valuable than tumbling or athletic ability. Our athletes have learned sportsmanship and learned to work toward shared goals. We have collected more than enough trophies, banners, medals, rings, and jackets to fill our gyms, but we are most proud of the life lessons that we have given the athletes in our program.
Our goal at Canyons Climbing Gym is to provide a friendly, positive, and comfortable environment with a sense of community. We work to ensure that beginners and experts will have the opportunity to enjoy, train, learn, and love the art of climbing.
