STARTING SEPTEMBER 1

2021 CORN MAZE CHALLENGE :: A new (virtual) multi-distance challenge to keep you motivated and active this fall. Run, walk, or bike your way around 3 difficulty levels. No mandatory completion deadline, so no need to stress!


SEPTEMBER 18

IRVING OKTOBERFEST RUN :: Choose from a 5-mile or 5K fun run at Toyota Music Factory. The fast and flat race route takes you through scenic downtown Las Colinas. See link for race day perks and registration info.


SEPTEMBER 18

GUTS & GLORY ZOMBIE RUN & CHALLENGE (MESQUITE) ::  Race through the woods with your team, compete in challenges, and try to survive the zombie horde. Obstacles and missions will test strength, speed, problem-solving, and teamwork. Participate either as a runner (human) or a zombie. 1-4pm.


SEPTEMBER 25

GLOW RUN 5K (CARROLLTON) :: How about a nighttime option where you can encounter different light and glow features as you run or walk the course? Show up early for the pre-party with a live DJ, glow paint bar, photo booth, and extra glow gear. 8:30pm.


OCTOBER 3

OAKTOBERFEST FUN RUN (OAK CLIFF) :: Kick off the new Bishop Arts beer festival with a 1.128-mile run around Tyler Station with beer samples for race participants. Following the run, enjoy an afternoon of food, polka music, and amazing local beer hosted in a Oktoberfest-style tent.


OCTOBER 9

JOE POOL LAKE PUMPKIN RUN (GRAND PRAIRIE) :: Opt for the 10K, 5K run/walk, or 1-mile fun run put on by the Grand Prairie Metro Rotary Club. They’ll have a free pancake breakfast and pumpkin decorating for the kids.


OCTOBER 23

2021 KOMEN DALLAS MORE THAN PINK WALK :: Join in person at NorthPark or participate virtually. Check out the interactive virtual experience that includes a week of activities from October 18-22 in advance of the big day.


NOVEMBER 25

PLANO TURKEY TROT :: Run/walk virtually or in-person for this annual Thanksgiving 5k. Benefits Best Buddies International.


NOVEMBER 25

DALLAS YMCA TURKEY TROT :: Live and virtual racing/walking options for the 5k and 8-mile, plus a Junior Trot for the kiddos. Check out the FAQ here.

    CELEBRATE THE HARVEST SEASON AT COUNTRY CRITTERS PUMPKIN PATCH
    Country Critters Farm, located in Alvarado, just 30 minutes south of Ft. Worth, will celebrate the opening of their annual pumpkin patch on Saturday, Oct. 5th. Pumpkin Patch is open to the public weekends through November 17th, open weekdays by reservation only.
    There’s something for every member of your family. Kids can ride a pony and a barrel train, jump in one of the bounce houses, or play in the playground. The whole family can pet adorable animals in the petting zoo, get lost in the wooden maze, and take a hayride! Everyone will enjoy the old fashioned games and the duck races.
