Dallas Moms Blog has partnered with Fireside Pies Inwood for a review post & giveaway in exchange for hosting our contributor team at #DMBFavThings. All opinions are our own.

Pepporoni pizza (533x800)It was almost 8 years ago that I discovered Fireside Pies on Henderson Avenue. At the time, it was revolutionizing the way Dallas knew pizza and from the moment you entered the building you knew why. Pizza was no longer for “take out” but a meal to be savored and enjoyed with a glass of wine. With the first bite of my Triple ‘Roni, I was in pizza heaven!

Over the past 10 years, Fireside Pies has since grown into 4 locations across Dallas, Plano, and Grapevine but are still serving the same delicious wood-fired, artisan pies.

The Menu

Fireside Pies has 11 different signature pies that they offer on their menu. If you’re nice, they will allow you to customize their pies by removing or adding toppings; however, I highly recommend you trust the chef and order as is. I’m definitely a picky eater, but if I can move past my standard plan ‘ol pepperoni, so can you!

My personal favorites are Proscutto & Parm, Light ‘n Crispy, and the North Beach Pie —  Fennel Salami, pepperoncinis, smoked  mozzerella topped with diced tomatoes. Ah-ma-zing!

If you plan to make a full meal out of your night out, definitely start off with the Bruschetta. They’ve turned this modern Italian favorite but made it all their own adding goat cheese, mushrooms, and pinon nuts with diced tomatoes and garlic and on a toasted crostini.

I haven’t tried all the Salads, but I’ve come close. The Caesar, Texas Bibb, and Chopped pair nicely with anything you’ll order. But don’t be surprised when they bring out a massive bowl because like all the items on their menu, they’re meant for sharing

The Drinks

As I mentioned, Fireside Pies isn’t your average pizza joint. The atmosphere of each location portrays the neighborhood it’s in. Plan to arrive early and enjoy a few drinks while taking in the ambiance before you order.

Fireside Pies offers a full bar menu. But just like you’ll trust the chef with your pizza, trust their bartenders and let them make you one of their hand-crafted cocktails. A freshly made Red Passion Sangria (Lambrusco, Brandy, Passion Fruit, Orange, and Bitters) will pair nicely with any Italian pie! Then make sure to ask about their drink specials or visit their Facebook page before you go!

My personal favorites are the Grapefruit Ricky (Vodka, St. Germaine, Red Grapefruit, Lime, and Club Soda) and Fireside Margarita (Tequila, Solerna Blood Orange Liqueur, Agave Nectar & Lime).

If you’re not a fan of cocktails, no worries! They have a full wine menu and a few Italian and local beers on draft or bottled.

The Giveaway

We were thrilled with Fireside Pies on Inwood & Lovers invited the Dallas Moms Blog team to a sit-down meal…without little fingers snatching our food…for our #DMBFavThings Holiday Guide reveal. As expected from the brand, the service was impeccable for a group of 20. The food was hot, delicious, and there was plenty to take home to our husbands!

Fireside Pies on Inwood has provided us with a $50 gift card to give to 1 reader, good at any Fireside Pies location. All you have to do is enter to win below!

Good luck, and happy eating!!
