Celebrating Motherhood with Bloom: A Moms Night Out Event {RECAP}

This post includes sponsors and partners of Dallas Moms Blog that made our event possible. All opinions are 100% our own!

Dallas Moms Blog recently hosted our 5th annual Bloom event on May 2, 2019 at Rooftop Event Spot in Historic Downtown Plano. While in the past, this event was designed for only new and expectant moms, this year, we opened it up to ALL Moms to provide a much-needed moms night out to celebrate Mother’s Day.

We welcomed expectant moms, new moms, experienced moms, and grandmothers to this annual event and we couldn’t have asked for a better time!

If you haven’t had the opportunity to attend an event at Rooftop Event Spot (located above Urban Rio) it’s one you’ll want to discover on your own for your next event! The setting could not have been more perfect for all that was offered. Rooftop Event Spot provided an intimate and relaxing experience with a gorgeous backdrop of the sunset on top of their beautiful, open, rooftop deck.

Moms took away an abundance of information to help them navigate not only the initial stages of pregnancy but through all stages of motherhood!

Moms were welcomed with a special “swag” bag that was valued at over $50 and included goodies from Bug Soother, Pencil Grip, Triple Paste, Bows by Mommi Boutique, Just Between Friends Plano, Mom’s Modern Mixes, and so many more — all featured in a fun canvas tote from City Moms Blog Network.

No moms night out event would be complete without some amazing food, and BLOOM definitely did not disappoint on that end! Rooftop Event Spot helped provide some delicious passed appetizers and a queso & salsa bar. In addition, the dessert table was stocked with goodies from Bird Bakery, Soozy’s Grain-Free, and Arctic Buzz Ice Cream. Moms were welcome to purchase wine from the wine bar, but our friends at Knit provided a delicious alternative beverage option so moms could indulge in a fun “pregnancy safe” drink.

This year’s event even added in a fun shopping area for moms to pick up new favorites for their own little ones or upcoming showers for friends. Vendors included Nordstrom, Sephora NorthPark, Sugar Sweat Cosmetics, Athletique & Co, and Cotton Hearts of McKinney.

Overall, the event offered so many opportunities, perks, and gifts for moms (and moms-to-be) so that they could feel that “spoil” for a few hours as a small thank you for giving of themselves so willingly and selflessly every day.

A special thanks goes out to our sponsors (see full list below), and of course, our amazing photographer from AKA Photography for capturing the event so beautifully! You can see the full album of photos by clicking over to our Facebook page.
