Emily, her husband and their toddler son moved from Northern California to Dallas a little over two years ago. Shortly after their arrival to the Big D their daughter was born—the first Texan in the family! Emily worked as a middle school counselor in California, and misses the daily drama of adolescence, but is enjoying being a stay at home mom and exploring Dallas. She is quickly adjusting to Texas life, and can be found escaping the summer heat at the amazing Children’s Adventure Garden at the Arboretum, thank you shade and splash pads!
