Elysa is a social strategist by day (and night), and volunteers in the local adoption community. She’s a native Texan and UNT graduate. She met her now-husband, Rory, through work over ten years ago. Cliche as it may be, it’s true! Their mutual love of food, and backgrounds in marketing, led them to start a food blog – DallasFoodNerd in 2011. In their 3+ years as parents, they have completed quite the bucket list of toddler adventures around DFW. In her downtime, you can find Elysa drinking hot tea year-round, thrifting, or listening to podcasts (sometimes all together).
