Meet the Dallas Moms Executive Team!
Andrea grew up a Florida girl, raised her babies in NC, then acquired roots in the Big D before making way back to the Carolinas. Andrea misses the food and trends in Dallas, but loves spending time in the mountains with her husband and 3 minis – William (2010), Rae (2012) and Lila (2014).Her Pinterest board is full of craft and DIY pins that she will never do, her real craft side is in the kitchen making some good southern homemade meals.Carly lives in North Dallas with her husband of eight years, Will, her son, Mason (4) and toddler girl, Olivia (2). When she isn’t busy getting her spirited kids a yogurt or juice, Carly enjoys spending time like a good ol’ Texas girl hunting or on a laidback patio having a nice glass of Malbec. She is still amazed each and every day how it can be possible to love her kids so much. Her claim to fame is her record book aoudad that she shot after a grueling stalk in the Panhandle. If she isn’t outside playing with her kids, you can spot her at Target stocking up on clothes, diapers, groceries and all the “necessities.” Carly currently runs her own consulting business and has launched her own website for all the huntin’ ladies and the wives of hunters, Miss Pursuit.Katherine and her husband, Christopher, grew up in Dallas and met at SMU. They have been married 14 years. While working full time and pregnant with their curly-haired Little Man (February 2015), Katherine completed her Master’s Degree in Communication & Leadership at Gonzaga University. She loves dining in Dallas’ local restaurants; chips and salsa are her weakness! When she’s not running after her family or busy with church activities, you might find her working on a homemade craft or two. Katherine also works full time as an executive assistant in Uptown. You can catch up with her on Instagram.Katie grew up in Dallas, went to SMU, and spent 10 post-college years in Austin, where she and her husband Mick welcomed Gemma in 2011 and Ryker in 2013. They all moved to central Fort Worth almost 4 years ago and have found it to be quite fun and a great place for kids. Katie is horrible at social media but will admit to a preference for her Twitter timeline these days. Favorite uses for her phone: reading library books and listening to comedy podcasts. Least favorite uses: making and receiving calls. She's forever down to watch any show that's British, supernatural, or on The CW. If you can quote Death Becomes Her, Big Business, or the 1987 Shelley Long flop Hello Again, please get in touch because you are most certainly kindred spirits. From a fourth grade teaching career in Richardson to managing a letterpress studio in the Design District of Dallas, Krystal finally found her calling with the not-so-simple life of motherhood. But motherhood can be lonely! It was only through an open call for contributors that she stumbled upon Dallas Moms Blog in 2012 and found the sense of community she’d been looking for. Since then, her role has grown from volunteer contributor to Managing Editor and now, Owner. Krystal has a passion for Dallas; a city she’s lived in her whole life, and wants to continue the tradition that was started with Dallas Moms –building a community and uniting the moms who live here. She’s been married for her best friend and husband, Tim, for almost 14 years and enjoys spending time with her boys, Mark (2011), Zachary (2013), Nathan (2015), and Jacob (2018). Her passions are eating cheaply, traveling often, and photographing every minute of it!Missy graduated from Oklahoma State University and loves the Cowboys! Prior to being a stay at home mom, Missy worked in advertising and met her husband while living in Australia. When Missy isn’t chasing around her little ones, she loves to craft, enjoy a glass of wine and shop! You can follow her on Instagram at @missyjoy518.Stephanie was raised in Forney, TX (just east of Dallas - Go Jackrabbits). After graduating from Stephen F. Austin State University in 2006 she started her career in planning events! She and her husband, Jordan, have 3 boys, Braden and Grant are 5 year old twins and Reid is 4. When she isn't chasing them around, she is enjoying the great outdoors and having a glass of wine!Whitney is originally from central Illinois but moved to Texas for love. After enjoying being a single twenty-something in Dallas, she settled down in 2010 and married her college sweetheart (the guy who got her here). She has two sons and a daughter. Whitney works for a major retailer in digital marketing creative, where she has been since 2009. She loves Dallas—the amazing friends she has met here, the Tex Mex, the bluebonnets, the arts and culture, the mild winters, and having lots of family, including her in-laws, one of her sisters, and her favorite uncle, nearby. Her passions include reading, sports, (daydreaming about) traveling, and spending time with friends and family.
