‘Tis the Season for Giving Thanks

And at Dallas Moms Blog, we have a lot to be thankful for.

Healthy family. Healthy friends. Food on our plates. And respectful happy children.

But we’re also thankful to you, our readers!

Without you, we wouldn’t have met some amazing moms and created some pretty great memories.

So as a way of saying thank you, we’re giving away a little more than usual with . . .

Every week, all month long, we’ll be posting some fabulous giveaways for your family (or just for you)!

So make sure you’ve added us to your Reader, Liked us on Facebook, and are following on Twitter because this month you won’t want to miss a day of Dallas Moms Blog!

And to start us off, we’d had such a popular response to our previous Kindermusik giveaway, we’re going to do it 1 more time!

If you’re not already familiar with Kindermusik, head over to their website and take a look around, or just search our site for some first hand contributor reviews. Their classes are truly a unique, hands-on activity for families to experience and be entertained together.

Kindermusik also has such a large Dallas following, that chances are you may have already experienced a Kindermusik class and not have even realized it. For example, did you know Kindermusik is at the Dallas Arboretum every Fall as a part of the annual Pumpkin Patch activities?

You may have also have seen them across the metroplex at Dallas Public Libraries teaching FREE classes; where they’ll return this winter:

December 19 –  White Rock Hills
December 20 –  Skillman Southwestern
January 2 –  Northpark Bookmarks
January 16 –  Lakewood
spring date TBA –  Audelia Road
All Storytimes at 10:30 am, no charge

They also offer adult classes like the one coming up this month with presenter Jody O’Callaghan, LMT:

“How to really get to know your child”

Touch is the mother of all the senses through which we experience and define ourselves and our relationships over time. Fun, informative and interactive, you will learn “what’s in for me, baby & parent” facts including some history, light physiology, psych development, i.e. bonding, and a demonstration. $10 at the door, adults and babies, reservation required

Friday, Nov 16: 11 am at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church
Saturday, Nov 17: 11 am at Greenland Hills UMC

And of course, don’t forget! They’ll be at the Dallas Arboretum through November 20th every Monday and Tuesday at the Pecan Grove from 12-12:30pm for some fun with Ms. Lisa! The class is FREE with admission into the park.

So, what are you waiting for?

Here is your chance to win a free month of classes to your choice of a Kindermusik class!

Krystal Hurst
Krystal is a Dallas-native who began her career as a fourth grade teacher in Richardson RISD, but quickly changed paths to became a stay-at-home mom in 2011. Through a happy coincidence, she stumbled upon (what was then known as) Dallas Moms Blog in 2012 and found a community she’d been looking for since coming a mom. Shortly after joining the team, she gratefully accepted the “baton” passed to her as new owner of the site, and took off with it running full speed! Krystal not only helped to grow Dallas Moms into a large parenting resource, but also launched Collin County Moms in 2016; providing those in the north Dallas suburbs their community resource platform. While building a community, uniting the moms, and growing a business around this passion was a dream come true, after almost 10 years, Krystal officially stepped down as owner, and is now focusing on raising her 4 boys with her husband, Tim, and rediscovering old hobbies.

  1. My baby loves any type of music, but she specially likes to dance latin music.
I guess that comes from her Colombian heritage. I got her some musical instruments and she loves to play them and dance

  2. What a great giveaway! My little boy loves music and has taken to bouncing up and down and shaking his head back and forth when he hears something he likes. We just love putting on Pandora Toddler radio all day long. Those wheels on the bus…wow.

  3. We have a ‘band in a box’ that my daughter loves. It has whistles, tambourine, bells etc & it so fun to dance and make noise with her 🙂
